In 2006, we introduced PerfectPac, Panoche Creek Packing’s signature brand of premium Nonpareil almonds. Our in-house specifications for this product are considerably more strict than USDA’s EXTRA #1 rating.
PerfectPac ships with a maximum of .75% SD (USDA EXTRA #1 rating allows 1.5%). And our foreign material spec for PerfectPac is only 20 pieces per 2,000 pounds (USDA EXTRA #1 rating allows roughly 300 pieces per 2,000 pounds).
